Ooh La La: 
 

This song from Dirty Picture features Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah. The song is reminiscent of the eighties with matching outfits, heaps of lemons rolling down hills and thousands of dancers dancing in the background. Shaking her voluptious hips to “Tu hai meri fantasy”, Vidya became every man’s fantasy with this item song.

Chikni Chameli:
 

 With a bottle of ‘Pauwa’ on her waist, Katrina Kaif lured the audience to the multiplex screens.  With her fast paced dance routine and flirty expressions this song went on to become the item song of the year. The song is a remake of the Marathi song “Komdi Padali” but it gained more popularity than the original song. The song is sung by Shreya Ghosal and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Sheila ki Jawaani: 

This song sung by Sunidhi Chauhan featured Katrina Kaif for the movie Tees Maar Khaan. As soon as the song hit the air, it became a blockbuster hit. While the film tanked at the box office, Sheila Ki Jawaani was the most memorable part of the film.

Munni Badnaam Hui: 



Malaika will always be known in Bollywood for her killer looks and sensual dance moves in “Munni Badnaam.” The song was a reinvention of a traditional village nautanki with a retro feel. Malaika was the heart of this song. We are actually running out of words to describe this gorgeous lady.

Balma:  
 

Polish-German model and Bigg Boss 3 contestant Claudia Ciesla set the screen on fire with her booty shaking moves in Khiladi 786. Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Sreeram, the song was a tribute to the legendary music director R.D. Burman.

Aga Baai:  
 

The electronic dance number by Amit Trivedi featured a curvaceous Rani Mukherjee in Aiyya. Rani mesmerized the audience with her effortless belly dance moves. The song was choreographed by the talented Vaibhavi Merchant. According to Vaibhavi, in order to learn the steps, “first breathe in and out, and while you do it, sway the hips sideways and then feel the chocolate sauce dripping off your stomach.” Vaibhavi your unique way of choreography has caught our attention!

Jhallah Wallah: 


Gauhar Khan’s facial expressions in this song reminded us of the yesteryear item girl Helen. Gauhar gave a new meaning to the word ‘mujra’ with her item song in Ishaqzaade. The song was a perfect amalgamation of contemporary outfits, simple lyrics, a colorful set and Gauhar’s dance moves.

Aa re Pritam Pyaare: 
 

Professional dancers Shakti Mohan, Mumaith Khan and Maryam Zakaria added a triple dose of entertainment to this song which became the hottest item number in the year 2012. Apart from the impeccable dance routine, the coordination between all the three ladies won our hearts.
